Call us at 952-884-1868!
South Hyland Pet Hospital is dedicated to serving people and pets with caring hearts and caring hands. Our goal is to keep your pet healthy and free from discomfort for as long as possible so that you may enjoy all the wonders pets can bring into our lives.
We realize that you know your pet better than anyone else; through our practice of a team-based method of care that allows our medical staff to work and communicate directly with individual owners, we are able to provide the best possible care solutions for each unique patient. Part of our success with this approach is stability; our newest doctor joined the team more than seven years ago, while the others have each been with us for more than a decade. You can learn more about our Veterinarians here.
This team-care approach gives owners the ability to choose their own doctor, have any and all questions answered, and to provide input on treatment options. We have been privately owned since our founding in 1974 and take sincere pride in our ability to offer a full line of services and the latest and greatest advances in veterinary medicine.
Our Veterinarians, Medical Staff and Customer Service Representatives actively undergo continuing education (more than 400 hours of additional training per year) and we regularly upgrade our equipment and facilities. This allows us to make these advances available to you and your pet in a clean, modern environment.
South Hyland has been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) for more than 25 years. Clinics that are certified by AAHA voluntarily meet more than 800 exceptionally high veterinary care standards that incorporate all aspects of veterinary medicine. The accreditation process involves a detailed evaluation of services, protocols, techniques and equipment via a thorough inspection by AAHA representatives every three years. Fewer than 10% of the veterinary hospitals in the United States achieve this honored status.
