Misty

Misty came to us in 1987 as a 13 week old kitten. She was badly injured and in great need of medical care. Her front legs were bruised and wounded and her paws had multiple fractures. Misty's toes were two times their normal size! The person who brought her to South Hyland Pet Hospital desperately wanted to help Misty, but was unable to afford the extensive care she needed. Dr. Libby decided he would take care of Misty and then take her home where she lived comfortably for several years. She then became our hospital mascot living here for the remainder of her life. She was 17 years old when she passed. We all loved her dearly and will always have a special place in our hearts for her.
