Kennel Technicians

Kennel technician Kristi joined the South Hyland staff in August 2007. Kristi attended Bemidji State University, and received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, with a minor in Management and Information Systems. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree at Keller University, and plans to work toward a veterinary technician certification in the future.

Kristi loves working with animals and is a member of the Minnesota ASPCA. At home, she cares for Carmen, a Boxer-Retriever mix, as well as a number of saltwater and tropical fish, snails and a crab named Houdini. Kristi's hobbies include hockey, football, rollerblading, reading, watching movies and spending time with her fiance Chris and her friends and family.

Kennel assistant Erin grew up in Princeton and has helped care for pet guests at South Hyland since July 2008. She is currently enrolled in Argosy University's veterinary technician program and hopes to become a certified veterinary technician. She is also a member of the Student Chapter of the North American Veterinary Technician Association. Erin shares her home with two cats, Ivy and Calpurnia. Her hobbies include swimming, cooking, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
