Veterinarians

Dr. Mark Lehnert attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1993. He then attended Utah State University, where he was awarded a Master's Degree in Wildlife Biology.

Dr. Lehnert worked as a wildlife biologist in upstate New York for 2 years prior to returning to Minnesota and entering the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. As a veterinary student, he received several academic awards and scholarships. Dr. Lehnert was awarded his DVM Degree in 2003. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association and the American Veterinary Dental Society.

Dr. Lehnert, his wife Sarah and their daughters, Audrey, Evelyn and Corinne, have 2 feline companions, Winthrop and Tucker, who were adopted from the humane society. Dr. Lehnert's outside hobbies and activities include photography, camping, canoeing, hunting, running and playing hockey.
