An associate veterinarian at South Hyland Pet Hospital since 1995, Dr. Vicki Schulz attended the University of Minnesota where she was awarded her B.S. Degree in Animal Science in 1983. Previous to her acceptance into veterinary school, Dr. Schulz was employed for 2 years at an equine hospital as a veterinary technician.
A graduate of the University Of Minnesota College Of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Schulz received her DVM Degree in 1988. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association, the Association of Avian Veterinarians, and the American Animal Hospital Association. As a general practitioner, Dr. Schulz enjoys seeing cats, dogs and birds, as well as other exotic species.
Dr. Schulz lives with her husband Pete and occasionally gets to enjoy her 2 college age sons Brandon and Derek. She currently has 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 conures. She also is the medical director of ACT V Rescue and Rehabilitation. In her spare time she gardens, fishes and is learning to relax by traveling.
